Close Call - Accident Prevented Due To Timely Net Install

A mere 3 hours after completed installation, our Pallet Rack netting prevented what could have been a major incident for a new customer. Although this "test" was not planned, the result was exactly what the customer needed.

As you can see in the photo below, material is stored above an active work area in the customers warehouse. OSHA requirements as well as a close call the same day we received the request both pointed out that the rack needed to have protection. The material and installation requirements were discussed and quickly quoted, the order was placed, and the custom nylon netting was manufactured to the customers specifications and shipped out for installation.



Only three short hours after the netting was installed, we received and email starting, "You're not going to believe this but..." The netting served it's purpose wonderfully as a less-than-careful forklift operator inadvertently pushed a 40" high stack of materials a little too far, causing the load to shift and land against the netting. The netting performed beautifully, saving the material from damage and any employee in the vicinity from injury.
